Coronavirus Update Harold Hawthorne Community Centre


And its the only thing we want to be spreading at our centre.

Our staff and volunteers have been tirelessly working to ensure that happens.

Your health and safety is our priority.

The Federal Government Covid-19 Guidelines require changes to how we operate within the centre. Please be patient and understanding while we work through this together.

It may result in delays and restrictions to your use of services and facilities within our Centre. Please be mindful of our Staff and Volunteers and practice kindness.

What are the changes within the centre?

Entry is restricted – If you are feeling unwell, or have any flu like symptoms please DO NOT ATTEND.

 ALL Visitors to register at reception. NO EXCEPTIONS. After a quick questionnaire you will be given a sticker to confirm you have been registered.

Cashless Payments are preferred. We offer Tap and Go, Direct Credit Transfers, Credit Card over the phone.

Sanitising stations have been installed at every door. Please sanitise your hands upon entry and exit of each room.

Strict Social distancing will be adhered to within the centre, with a one way route marked on the floor. Please follow the arrows and maintain 1.5m distance from others.

There is a limited number of visitors permitted in each area. These limits are displayed on the Covid19 Certificate at the entry of each area.

In Harry’s Diner you must now wait to be seated. Meals, along with tea and coffee will be served at the table. Please leave your plate, cups and cutlery on the table when you leave.  The servery is restricted to staff and volunteers.  They are here to help. If you require anything, please ask.

We will be Keeping you informed via facebook, email and newsletters as Government Regulations are amended. Please ensure your email and contact details are updated.
